Jared turned 12 on June 23, 2009. His grandfather, Day Ellsworth, turned 74, and our previous prophet Gordon B. Hinkley shared this same birthday as well. What a memorable day!Danny's parents flew to town for Jared's birthday since it was his 12th and he would be receiving the Priesthood. We had a great time on their visit!
We left for Hilton Head on June 22nd and spent the night at the beach!! :-) 
On June 23rd, their birthday, we woke up in Hilton Head
and headed to Savannah to take a historical tour before heading home to Atlanta.
It was a whirlwind trip for us but even more so for Day and Nola since they only spend 4 days in the East, two of which were on the coast :-)
That's the way these Ellsworth's roll...... they love spontaneaty and a quick trip is better than 'no' trip :)
