George Washington's Mount Vernon

After a brief (almost driveway) at Jamestown, we headed to Mount Vernon. I really enjoyed touring the homes of our founding fathers. This was last on our list before heading to cousin Jill's house outside of DC for the Thanksgiving reunion with the Hamilton family.

Although the weather didn't cooperate for us, we were still able to see everything we wanted to outside... but the museum on the grounds was just incredible so we came back again the next morning to really get our fill. Reed said it was his favorite, but I'm sure it was because of the interactive museum.
